puts a strain on your finances. Thus,

Expired coupons may
appear worthless to you. However, those same expired
coupons can help stretch the food
budget of overseas military
families struggling
to make ends meet every month.
Manufacturer's grocery
coupons are accepted by overseas military commissaries
for up to six
months past their printed expiration date! (Due to time in transit and
processing
them to get them out to families we have been asked to send them no
more
than 6 months expired.)
All current manufacturers
coupons that you won't be using are also happily
accepted
as it gives them extra time to use them.
Unexpired manufacturer's coupons
can also be used to help families living in
the U.S. When a parent is deployed
the other parent is left behind to stretch
every dollar, as far as possible. This may mean that the
family doesn't have the
extra funds to buy the Sunday paper to obtain grocery coupons.
There
are also Veterans here in the U.S. who could use a helping hand yet do
not
wish to ask for help at a food pantry. Because so many people
use grocery coupons
your coupons can provide the extra help without
it embarrassing anyone.
Hence, grocery
coupons from your Sunday paper are invaluable for many
military
families. Sharing your
coupons makes a big difference!
Please remind

not to put their coupons into the recycle bin. Maybe you
don't
take
the newspaper, yet still want to help. More

HOW TO GET THE COUPONS TO FAMILIES
NEEDING THEM
UNEXPIRED COUPONS - send clipped or whole
coupon inserts to OAVN at the address
at the bottom of this
page. OAVN will use them to help active military and Veterans here
in
the U.S.
EXPIRED COUPONS -can be mailed directly to an overseas military
base using
these
updated addresses. (Thank you for sending them with the expiration date
no more than
two months past to allow the coupons to be received overseas
with time to process them.)
